Jun Takahashi is going all out this season for the dunk High. Back in January, the Japanese style icon unveiled “Black” and “White” colourways as part of his “Chaos Collection”, and now it looks he’ll be unwrapping another with the upcoming UNDERCOVER x Nike dunk High “UBA”!

Taking the legendary silhouette back to its on-court roots, the “UBA” is very clearly inspired by the Chicago Bulls’ signature colour palette. working on a red tumbled leather base, smooth black panels gracefully glide across the ankle, heel, lacing system, and toebox, while a Nike Swoosh elegantly shoots across the lateral and medial side panels for added depth.

Clean white laces add a pop of contrast to the shoe, and this is complemented by “UBA” branding at the back of the dunk High, standing for UNDERCOVER Basketball association which is a playful nod to the NBA.

Shifting your focus downwards, you’ll find a midsole that’s done up with a series of black speckles. This design cue has become synonymous to Takahashi, featuring prominently on his other Beaverton collaborations such as the Air Max 720 and the react Presto.

Expected to launch within the second half of the year, let us know what you think of the UNDERCOVER x Nike dunk High “UBA” and if you’ll be adding these to your personal collection! In related news, the Nike dunk High EMB “Court Purple” pays homage to the LA Lakers!
