After taking a sneak peek earlier this week, we’re now getting an on foot look at the brand new Nike adapt BB. functioning as a successor to the wildly popular HyperAdapt 1.0 of 2016, this shoe is genuinely the future of sneakers.
As pointed out in an early leak, the adapt BB takes the form of a basketball shoe. Upon slipping your foot in, the shoe will immediately come to life, illumination up and adjusting to the shape of your foot so you always get the perfect fit. The ingenious self-lacing system has also been fully reworked. A little engine inside the midsole pulls the laces to tighten the Flyknit and quad-axial fit together upper. As Nike FitAdapt innovation has evolved, the engine has become smaller and lighter, enabling more applications across more sports.

Additionally, unlike its predecessor, this basketball sneaker charges wirelessly by setting them on a mat.
Expected to get a broader release in February 2019, the Nike adapt BB will set you back around £300, which is significantly more affordable compared to the HyperAdapt 1.0.
